A medium size bowl with faceted sides, one of a kind.
Wheel thrown using a beige stoneware clay with facets on the sides providing gentle undulations. This warm coloured clay contains sandy flecks, when turning the clay the exterior surface has been worked on to produce a lovely texture. The inside is glazed in an off white matte to semi matte glaze with flecks of iron.
This is a durable, dishwasher proof, food-safe glaze which is unique and was formulated by Sarah and rigorously tested. Handmade ceramics will, however, benefit from a longer life if they are hand washed as this is gentler than a dish washer. The raw clay may develop a patina over time if oil comes in contact with it however by wiping the raw clay with a neutral coloured oil such as vegetable oil at an early stage, the clay will develop less patina.
