Gently riveted cups lovely for coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
The riveted sides make for comfortable places to rest fingers on and the curved bottom is intentional so the cup sits comfortably and reassuringly in the palm of the hand. Thrown on the wheel using a grey stoneware clay with specks of lava. These cups are glazed in a semi matte oatmeal glaze which depending on the thickness of the glaze can show semi matte and matte variation on the cup.
Dishwasher-proof with a food-safe glaze which is unique and was formulated by Sarah and rigorously tested. Handmade ceramics will, however, benefit from a longer life if they are hand washed as this is gentler than a dish washer. Please note that over time matte glazes tend to stain or show cutlery marks more than gloss glazes.
As each piece is unique and handmade there may be subtle differences from one item to the next.
