This is a beige, grey textured stoneware clay with small sandy flecks kept raw on the outside and lined on the inside with a blue glossy glaze with tones of emerald as can be found on the coasts of Sardinia.
Why not mix and match? These cups are available with three glaze colours : emerald turquoise, jade green or dolphin blue. All three colours come in either a beige grey clay or a light cream clay so can mixed and matched by glaze colour or by clay tone.
As each piece is unique and thrown on the wheel there may be subtle differences from one item to the next.
This is a durable, dishwasher proof, food-safe glaze which is unique and was formulated by Sarah and rigorously tested.
