Matcha bowl/cup

DKK 300.00

Curved edge cup/bowl ideal for matcha or a small bowl of granola or cappuccino, a bowl or cup for many things.

The curve feature on these makes them a pleasure to hold. Thrown on the wheel using a grey stoneware clay with specks of lava. These cups are glazed in a semi matte oatmeal glaze which depending on the thickness of the glaze can show semi matte and matte variation on the cup. The curved bottom is intentional so the cup sits comfortably and reassuringly in the palm of the hand.

These cups contain approx 250 ml.

Dishwasher-proof with a food-safe glaze which is unique and was formulated by Sarah and rigorously tested. Please note that over time matte glazes tend to stain or show cutlery marks more than gloss glazes.

These works are free thrown without using a gauge, so each item is individual and is not identical to the next but similar. If you would like to see photographs of specific cups, please contact Sarah.

Approx height 6.5 cm, approx diameter at the rim 11 cm.
