A handmade wheel thrown small jug ideal for water.
This is a cream textured stoneware clay with sand flecks kept raw on the outside and lined on the inside with a blue gloss glaze.
This is a durable, dishwasher proof, food-safe glaze which is unique and was formulated by Sarah and rigorously tested. Handmade ceramics will, however, benefit from a longer life if they are hand washed as this is gentler than a dish washer. Ceramics with raw exteriors may with time show some patina if the item comes in to contact with oil, wiping an item with a neutral colour-free food oil can protect it.
Please note there is a small area in the base where the glaze is thinner, this is purely visual and does not affect how water tight the jug is. For this reason the price is lower than normal.
